• Providing employers with an objective assessment by benchmarking the leading medical schemes and allied products using well-defined key criteria.
• Analysing, implementing and continuously monitoring your chosen healthcare strategy.
• Helping employers and individuals to identify and implement healthcare products and wellness programs.

As healthcare administration is not a core function of the payroll and HR team, we assist by providing operational support in the following ways:

• Working closely with employers to help with any necessary operational and technical issues.
• Providing ongoing industry and market insights in terms of the broader medical scheme environment and their possible influences
• Managing relationships with healthcare providers to ensure speedy action and query resolution.

This service is aimed at the individual, where you form part of a company or joining a medical scheme in your private capacity. We assist members in ensuring that they select the most appropriate scheme and/or option based on their healthcare needs and affordability. We also provide ongoing assistance in terms of understanding their selected option and its benefits, resolving queries and disputes with providers, and proactively engaging with members who we identify as being on the incorrect option. This entails:

• We help members to make an informed decision on the most appropriate medical scheme and benefit option, by conducting a detailed medical needs analysis, which takes into account their healthcare needs and what they can afford.
• We provide ongoing education and support.
• Keeping members well informed about their rights and healthcare benefits in order to optimise its value.
• Helping resolve queries and disputes with healthcare providers.
• Communicating regularly with members, which includes general updates and annual benefit renewal information. We also proactively engage with individuals we identify as being on the incorrect option (over or under insured).

Wellness initiatives are premised on the notion that prevention is better than cure. Following this idea, our objective in providing corporate wellness services is to assist employer groups by identifying the health risks of employees and encouraging employees to adopt specific lifestyle changes (if necessary) through the introduction of targeted programs and education.
